Our cosy, single storey, self catering, holiday cottage has just been fully renovated to include a new kitchen, new shower room, central heating and all new floor coverings. Suitable for persons with some disabilities. Bed linen and towels included.

Yaffles holiday cottage is the ideal setting for rambling holidays and explorers of the National Park. Offering comfortable, fully furnished, holiday accommodation for two - sharing a double bedroom. Situated in an elevated position with outstanding, unspoilt views across one of the most picturesque valley's in the National Park.

Glaisdale has it's own railway station on the Esk Valley line, where you can alight at Grosmont and connect with the North Yorkshire Moors Railway Steam Railway. (The longest steam railway in England). From Grosmont you can take the steam train all the way to Pickering. Or drop in at the pretty North Yorkshire villages through which your journey takes you.

The popular Yorkshire coast, fishing town of Whitby is less than 10 miles by road. Or you can take the train there too.

In Glaisdale there are village shops including a grocers / post office and a traditional butchers. A fuel station and not least the Arncliffe Arms (the village pub), serving bar meals and incorporating the popular Café Glas restaurant.

Yaffles is available on a weekly basis from Saturdays with some out of season weekend breaks available. Please call to check availability.
